I went in today in a little bit of an emergency. I needed a nut and cotter pin for the tie rod that came off of our truck. The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful. He took down a new tie rod off the shelf to ensure that he got the right size nut and cotter pin. When he couldn't find one in the store that was the right size, he gave me the one off the new tie rod. I asked him how he could do that and he said that he was going to order another one for the new assembly he had. He said it would only take a day or so to come in, but I needed the nut and cotter pin right away (which I really did). I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. He said just come back the next time I need something for the truck. I DEFINITELY will! Who does that kind of thing anymore. Customer service is alive and well at the Carquest in Safford!
